Brewery Spotlight: Ommegang

It’s American Craft Beer Week and to celebrate we’re highlighting one of our favorites — Brewery Ommegang. Located in Cooperstown, New York, Brewery Ommegang is the maker of a wide variety of bold beer varieties as well as the specialty line of Game Of Thrones beers.

Witte
Crisp and refreshing. Ommegang’s traditional belgian style wheat ale is great for warm summer days ahead. Coriander and orange peel are added to give it a bit of spice and a bit of sweet.

Rare Vos
The name is Flemish for ‘Sly Fox’. This amber ale lives up to its name with a cunning and complex blend of rich maltiness and fruity esters.

Hennepin
Ommegang’s “Farmhouse” Saison. With it’s beautiful golden hue and light effervescence, Hennepin can take the place of champagne the next time you’re feeling fancy.

Abbey Ale
Ommegang’s classic Abbey-style Ale means this beer packs a bold, toffee flavor, a fluffy head, and at 8.2% ABV, a bit of a punch.
