Mezcal Margarita

Mezcal is the hot new liquor and our favorite cocktail base right now. This smoky version of the classic margarita has a completely different taste profile. The Cointreau contributes a slight sweetness that cuts some of the smokiness from the mezcal.

  • 3 oz mezcal
  • 2 oz lime juice
  • ½ oz Cointreau

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake. Strain into a glass with ice and garnish with a lime wheel.
