Three cheers for National Mojito Day! This Cuban classic typically consists of five ingredients: rum, sugar, lime, mint and club soda, but in true Minibartender fashion we’ve created a few twists on the classic.

Pineapple Mojito

Serves: 1

Sweeten up your mojito with a hint of pineapple. This twist on one of our favorite classics is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth while keeping your drink simple and delicious.

Ingredients:

  • 4 mint leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 lime wedge
  • 2 oz pineapple juice
  • 2 oz white rum
  • club soda

Directions:

Muddle mint, sugar, and lime in a glass and add ice. Pour in pineapple juice and rum and top with club soda. Stir and garnish with a pineapple wedge. 

Classic Mojito

Serves: 1

This Cuban cocktail is delicious and refreshing, typically made with white rum. The muddled mint and sugar make it especially thirst quenching. The trick to a mojito is to lightly muddle the mint to preserve all of the flavors.

Ingredients:

  • 4 mint leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1 ime wedge
  • 2 oz white rum
  • club soda

Directions:

Muddle mint, sugar, and lime in a glass. Add ice, rum, and top with club soda. Stir and garnish with a lime wheel.

Pomegranate Mojito

Serves: 1

Calling a citrus lovers – this classic, refreshing cocktail gets a tart, citrusy twist with a splash lime juice and flavored vodka.

Ingredients:

  • 4 mint leaves
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • 1 lime wedge
  • 2 oz white rum
  • 2 oz pomegranate juice
  • Club soda

Directions:

Muddle mint, sugar, and lime in a glass. Add ice, pomegranate juice, and rum and top with club soda. Stir and garnish with mint and lime wheel.

Absolut Lime Mojito

Serves: 1

A twist on one of our favorite classics, the Pomegranate Mojito adds a unique twist to your favorite Cuban cocktail.

Ingredients:

  • 8 mint leaves
  • 2 parts Absolut Lime
  • 1 part lime juice
  • 3/4 part simple syrup
  • soda water

Directions:

Muddle mint leaves in a chilled highball glass. Fill with crushed ice and add Absolut Lime, lime juice, and simple syrup. Top with soda water and garnish with lime and mint leaf.
