After retiring from her professional dance career at the age of 23, Allison Parc began to indulge in the food and drink which she was previously restricted due to her ballet lifestyle. This exposure to new flavors and aromas inspired Parc to create a whisky that respected tradition, yet used innovative distilling methods.
Amy Walberg: Founder & Owner, PRESS Premium Alcohol Seltzer
Amy Walberg founded PRESS back in 2015, as a single mom looking to make a career change. Walberg, an avid seltzer fan, noticed a gap in the market and an opportunity to create a premium seltzer.
Bertha González-Nieves: Co-Founder and CEO, Casa Dragones
Bertha González-Nieves, Co-Founder and CEO of Casa Dragones, was the first woman named Master Tequilera, and is most definitely the First Lady of Tequila. Deeply committed to handcrafted, small-batch Tequila, she puts sustainability front and center and nudges people to think of Mexico’s favorite spirit in a different light—like pairing Casa Dragones with oysters.

Fawn Weaver : CEO of Uncle Nearest
The creation of Uncle Nearest 1856 was in honor of the first known African American master distiller in the country Nathan ‘Nearest’ Green. Green was a former enslaved person credited with teaching Jack Daniel how to distill whisky. Fawn Weaver, eager to acknowledge the first African-American master distiller, created the Tennessee whiskey brand in July 2017. Since its 2017 debut, the whiskey has won 75 awards and earned the title of the most awarded new American whiskey in United States history.
