Bello Family Vineyards is a small, family-owned winery in Napa Valley’s Rutherford Bench district. Michael Bello first founded the vineyard with the goal of producing premium Cabernet Sauvignon of the highest quality imaginable. Since that time he has been joined by his son Christopher Bello, and the two have combined to create a powerful force in the industry. Their blend of hard work, perseverance and passion shine though in every bottle of wine they produce.
We’ve picked out a couple of our favorite wine varietals from Bello Family Vineyard for you to try!
Alexandrie Brut Sparkling Wine
A charming wine that opens up with aromas of apple, fresh cut apricots, and green figs. Evolves to a sweeter character of asian pear cider with a mellow flavors of cantaloupe and ground nutmeg. Finishes off with lively minerality and a linger of toasted brioche.
2015 Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon
Dense ruby, purple color with a classic nose of blackcurrants, licorice, and sweet oak. Elegant fresh raspberry, blueberry, and cherry notes on the palate with a long velvety finish of tannin and bittersweet chocolate. Rich, broad, and accessible. Ages well.
2016 Megahertz Cabernet Sauvignon
A generous wine encompassing the true character of Cabernet Sauvignon from the Napa Valley region. Fresh cherry, dry thyme, and toasted black peppercorn lead into flavors of black cherry, plum, and compote. Finishes off with firm tannins, and layers of semi-sweet chocolate and dark roast espresso beans.
